Sunday, December 8, 2019

Announcing two shows! Join us at 4:30pm and 7:30pm for two identical shows with our incredible student performers. Hendricks Chapel is excited to share the experience of Holidays at Hendricks with more people than ever before.

Concert information:

On Sunday, Dec. 8, two identical performances will take place at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Doors to Hendricks Chapel will open 30 minutes prior to each concert start time.

Both concerts are free and open to the public. Financial donations in support of Hendricks Chapel outreach programs, such as the food pantry, will be accepted throughout the day. The community is invited to a reception at the Heroy Geology Laboratory lobby following the 7:30pm concert.

Public parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis in Irving Garage.

Hendricks Chapel and the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University proudly present Holidays at Hendricks. An ongoing CNY tradition anchored by the Hendricks Chapel Choir and its director Dr. José “Peppie” Calvar, our newly formatted, student-centered concert performance features appearances from the Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra directed by Dr. James Tapia, the international award-winning Syracuse University Singers, under the direction of Dr. John Warren, and Syracuse University’s combined Vocal Jazz Ensembles, directed by Prof. Jeff Welcher, as well as Crouse Chorale (our Soprano/Alto choir) and Setnor Sonority (our Tenor/Bass choir), directed by Dr. Hillary Ridgley and Peppie Calvar, respectively.
