About the Chapel Spaces

Weddings can be booked in either the Hendricks Chapel Main Chapel or Small Chapel.

Main Chapel

The Main Chapel is located on the main floor of Hendricks Chapel. It can accommodate 1,000 people comfortably on pews and chairs. As of July 2019, the first six rows of pews in the middle sections of the Chapel were removed and replaced with beautiful matching chairs. For photos, refer to this Syracuse University News article. The space includes an elevated podium area. The Main Chapel is now air conditioned, as of Summer 2019.

Small Chapel

The Small Chapel is located on the lower level of Hendricks Chapel. It can accommodate approximately 14 comfortably with wooden chairs. The space is narrower, does not have windows, and includes a small worship center.

As a sacred space of worship and sanctuary, we ask that wedding guests, vendors, and all who enter, treat the Chapel to reflect this awareness and respect the space. Hendricks Chapel reserves the right to refuse admittance.
