Tiffany Steinwert: is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church who has spent her career working at the intersections of faith and social justice. In her many roles as pastor, scholar, and organizer, she has empowered people of all faiths and no faith to build relationships amidst difference, craft meaningful communities and create change through collective action.
While serving as a pastor in New England congregations, she also worked as a teaching fellow at Boston University and Harvard Kennedy School teaching courses in theology, community organizing and leadership. Trained as a practical theologian, she is interested in how communities of faith respond to and interact with the pressing issues of the contemporary world. Steinwert holds a B.A. degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Williams College in Williamstown, MA, a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University School of Theology in Boston, MA, and a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Boston University.
Among her civic interests, Steinwert serves the Syracuse community as a member of the Religious Roundtable of InterFaith Works of CNY and an advocate for Vera House.

Melissa Wike graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York with a dual degree in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics. She has 20 years experience working in both the public and private accounting sectors. She is married with five children and serves as the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Salt City Little League in Liverpool, New York. She enjoy watching her children participate in sports and is actively involved in their academics.

Elizabeth Cronk is a native to the Syracuse area growing up in Liverpool, NY. She earned her associates degree from SUNY Morrisville in 1988 in Secretarial Science. Elizabeth has been employed with the chapel since August 2008. She is the Dean’s Assistant and Wedding/Commitment Ceremony Administrator for Hendricks Chapel. Elizabeth loves helping couples plan their ceremonies at the Chapel ~ give her a call if you’re planning to get married! She resides in Cicero, NY with her husband Mark and three children - Morgan, Jacob and Charlie.

Michelle Larrabee is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BS in Human Services. She has worked at the University for 15 years joining the staff at Hendricks Chapel in 2009 as the Event Coordinator. She enjoys working with people and being busy, and this job certainly incorporates both. She live in Syracuse with her husband Mark and two daughters Brooke and Jenna.

Olukola Owolabi

Kola Owolabi, a native of Toronto, Canada, is the University Organist and Assistant Professor of Music at Syracuse University. There, he teaches courses in organ, improvisation, continuo playing and music theory, plays for weekly chapel services and special events, and coordinates the Malmgren Concert Series at Hendricks Chapel. He is also the Sub Dean for the Syracuse Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and is responsible for planning chapter events. He holds degrees in organ performance and choral conducting from McGill University, Montreal, Yale University and Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. As a recitalist, he has performed across Canada and the United States, Mexico and Jamaica, appearing most recently at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York, Methuen Memorial Music Hall, in Massachusetts, Spelman College in Atlanta and Cornell University.

John Warren

John Warren is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Syracuse University, where he conducts three choirs, and teaches conducting and choral literature to undergraduate and graduate students. During his 6-year tenure Syracuse choirs have sung at state and regional ACDA conferences, toured to Albany, Boston, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Hartford, as well as Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, and sung major works with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Warren has won Outstanding Teacher awards at Syracuse University and Erskine College.
Dr. Warren holds the Bachelor of Music degree with a major in Church Music from Furman University, the Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Miami. In addition, Dr. Warren has worked with numerous outstanding conductors including Robert Shaw, Frieder Bernius, Christoph Eschenbach, Robert Page, Helmuth Rilling, Rodney Eichenberger, Jo-Michael Scheibe, and Elmer Thomas.
Dr. Warren served on the Planning Committees for the 2011 ACDA National Conference in Chicago and the 2004 ACDA Southern Division Conference in Nashville. He was South Carolina Repertoire and Standards Chair for Women’s Choirs. Dr. Warren has lectured, adjudicated and conducted festival choirs throughout the Eastern United States.

Syeisha Byrd

Syeisha Byrd is a native to the City of Syracuse. She earned her associates degree in Human Services at Onondaga Community College and a Bachelors of Science at Keuka College. Currently she is working on completing her Master in Social Work at Syracuse University. She has over 16 years of experience working with youth and youth organizations in Syracuse. Syeisha is the Director of the Office of Engagement programs where she is able to connect the students with the community that she loves. She provides students the opportunity to engage in different programs that focus of social justices issues all while building sustainable long lasting relationships. She serves as the Vice President of the Save the Kids board and sits on the Center for New Americans advisory board. She enjoys spending time with family, zumba, and fishing.

Ginny Yerdon has worked at Syracuse University for the past 19 years at Hendricks Chapel. She has served in a variety of positions from scheduling events to working as administrative assistant and special events coordinator.
Ginny has two sons, Michael and Scott, and lives in Liverpool with her husband Elwin.
