HSC's vision emerges from such great Vedic realizations as "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: The entire creation is one big family," and "Sarvepi sukhina santu, sarve santu niramayah: Let everybody be happy, healthy, and blessed." These ideals promote peace, progress, and harmony in the world. HSC derives its inspiration from Santan Hindu Dharma, the Eternal and Universal Principles of Life.

HSC's mission is to promote a greater understanding of universal values as well as the nature of the Hindu system and heritage, to address issues affecting Hindus, and to serve through social action and volunteerism.
