College can be an overwhelming place, especially at first, but trying to find a place to fit in always seems to be at the top of the list of things to do. Some people find their niche in athletics, or the arts or even academic clubs; but a large amount of SU students find it in Hendricks Chapel. LCM may be your place, or just one of them, but you have to come and try it out.

Move in early and immerse yourself in a community that cares about others! Sponsored by Lutheran Campus Ministry, this interfaith social justice project offers a unique opportunity for students to get to know one another while reaching out to a particular neighborhood in Syracuse that has many needs, but has much to offer. You will experience outreach in service and reflection, breaking daily for playful activities. You will grow in a very real way through this meaningful introduction to life in and around the University. Contact Janet Robinson for more information. |

| Fri., August 31 | Join us on the Hendricks Chapel steps at 7:30 p.m. for a great game of Capture the Flag on the Quad. Build-your-own ice cream sundaes will also be involved! ALL are welcome! |
| Labor Day Progressive Meal | |
| Mon., September 3 | Join LCM and Episcopal Campus Ministry (ECM) for a progressive dinner! We'll begin the evening at the LCM parsonage at 100 Berkeley Drive, then move to the ECM parsonage at 107 Dorset Street for dessert. A great way to fellowship over some wonderful food! ALL are welcome! |
