Peer Minister - Greg Soyk

Hello, my name is Gregory Soyk. I'm a senior Forest Health major at SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry. I'm currently taking a course, EFB 335 Dendrology where I have to memorize and be able to recognize 85 species of trees! I was born in Queens, NY and then shortly thereafter moved outside the city to Rockland County, where I've remained for 16 years. I enjoy many genres of music such as industrial, house, drum n' bass, and ambient (these all are variants of electronic music). Currently I've been listening to Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Aphex Twin, and the Orb. As a Lutheran Campus Minister I look forward to welcoming new people into our community while learning about how God calls us to do his duty. I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne. Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky...
