Hillel Jewish Student Union (HJSU)

The Hillel Jewish Student Union (HJSU) seeks to assist Hillel at Syracuse University in creating a diverse, dynamic, and welcoming Jewish community on the Syracuse University Campus.

Each year a talented group of students are elected to the HJSU Board by a group of their peers to work with the staff at Hillel at Syracuse University to engage their fellow students and create dynamic programming on campus and lead religious services.  To learn more about the HJSU programming, visit the Hillel at Syracuse University Website, www.suhillel.org, and click on the Events Calendar link.  The Events Calendar also includes a number of interfaith and University programs the HJSU and Hillel at Syracuse University support and encourage students to attend.

The HJSU holds regular student-led Reform and Conservative Shabbat services every week at 6:00 PM at the Winnick Hillel Center for Jewish Life.  You can RSVP for dinner, which begins after services conclude, by clicking HERE.  Most importantly, though, matzo ball soup is served at EVERY meal!

The HJSU can be reached by E-mailing Hillel@suhillel.org, or calling the Winnick Hillel Center for Jewish Life at (315) 422.5082.  Your message will be directed to the member of the HJSU board that can best assist you.

The HJSU is proud to be a registered student organization (RSO).  Click HERE to read the Hillel Jewish Student Union Constitution.
