The Religious Society of Friends, more commonly known as Quakers, is a peace-based church dedicated to finding and connecting with "that of God in everyone." Quakers have no professional clergy and have historically shown a strong concern for social justice and peacemaking.
Meeting for worship lasts about 30 minutes and is scheduled the first and third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the small chapel on the lower level of Hendricks Chapel. Friends sit in silent worship, rising to share spoken messages as they become clear.
